Information about the financial support that may be available to you is available on this web site, whether you are leaving school, applying to higher education or an adult returning to college. We will provide you upon request with information and advice on the extensive range of financial support that may be available to you, this includes our Young People’s Bursary, Adult Learning Grants and, for higher education students, Student Loans and Bursaries.
If you are a further education student you may be entitled to financial support to help meet the costs of travel to and from college, our team of specialist advisers can provide you with detailed information.
Information on tuition and examination fees is available upon request. We can also provide details of concessions that may be available if you are in receipt of a qualifying state benefit.
The College does not own any residential accommodation but maintains a list of local accommodation providers which is available to students. This list is updated annually and gives current prices of the accommodation listed. This is not a list of ‘approved’ accommodation or recommended by Harrogate College. The College acts as a facilitator and assumes no responsibility for either accommodation or landlord/landlady. Copies of the list are available from reception or you can call 01423 879466.
A team of specialist Learning Mentors is available to support you and to ensure that you settle into the college community as quickly as possible.

The Harrogate College Counselling Service provides free, confidential and professional counselling and is available to all students. Anyone can refer themselves to us, or be referred by a member of staff, and can come for counselling regarding any issue, whether it is personal or work/study related.
