Harrogate College has a dedicated team of business training professionals with hands-on experience in a wide range of sectors who can advise and support, ensuring your organisation always receives a first-class service.
Harrogate College is currently working with a range of businesses to offer training to employees to boost organisational competitiveness, staff motivation and reduce the cost of recruitment and training.
Current training programmes include workforce training in co-operation with HACS, St Michael’s Hospice, Wetherspoons, Setting Sail Day Nursery, Harrogate Neighbour’s Housing Association, Royal British Legion, The Old Swan Hotel and Nuffield Hospital.
Harrogate College has been working in partnership with Saint Michael’s Hospice since 2007. The charity wanted to work with a successful local training provider to increase the skill base within their team of healthcare assistants.

Chris started at Harrogate College 18 years ago studying on what is now known as an Apprenticeship scheme. He worked full time in a Catering role and attended Harrogate College one day a week to study for his City & Guilds professional chef qualifications. Chris believes in the benefits of the Apprenticeship scheme, that all learners gain hands on experience of the industry in which they want to work whilst they study.
