Faculty of Business and Science

The faculty of Business and Science incorporates the Harrogate International Business School (HIBS). HIBS offers a range of programmes which can be designed and tailored to fit employer requirements as well as recognised professional qualifications to individuals and employers.

The range of Business and Professional courses offered includes Foundation Degrees, which form the basis for further study at Degree level including BA (Hons) Degrees.

The Foundation Degree integrates academic and work based learning. The Programme is designed in partnership with employers and equips individuals with the knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to their employment.

Employers recognise that Foundation Degrees confirm academic ability and they provide the practical experience required in the workplace. The BA (Hons) Top-up in Business allows valuable further local study at degree level for those who have a Foundation Degree or HND qualification in 10 a relevant subject.
