The Great Yorkshire Show is the country's leading agricultural event, with over 125,000 visitors enjoyed this celebration of agriculture and country life.

 

Visitors to the Great Yorkshire Show had the opportunity to participate and enjoy a range of exciting activities from Harrogate College including Live Performances, in collaboration with Northern Ballet Theatre, Live cookery demonstrations, Fitness activities using a rowing a machine and checking BMI, body fat, hand grip and weight and height.

The most popular activity tourned out to be Generate your own Electricity, where people of all ages raced eachother around a track by pedaling their bikes and therefore power cars.  Even the Mayor and his wife joined in and had a great time generating their own power.
