Enrichment Team Member

Description: This post is Part time, 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, Temporary maternity cover until 9th June 2012.
The post holder will plan, organise, promote, supervise and contribute to the delivery of a range of enrichment activities and programmes targeted at the College’s current or potential students aged 16 – 18 years. Activities will be designed to complement and enrich the student learning experience whilst developing student’s core skills. Activities and programmes will also make a significant contribution to mutually reinforcing the key outcomes of the Every Child Matters framework. Activities and programmes will take place both on and off college sites and will include evening and weekend activity throughout the year.

Fractional Lecturer in Hairdressing (5hrs p.w.)

Description: The post holder will work primarily with students engaged across a range of courses within the Hairdressing subject area, providing a high level of support needed to achieve their programme of study.
The post holder will need to be innovative in their teaching methods. The position requires flexibility, enthusiasm and most importantly a commitment to the student journey. The ability to inspire learners is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a well established team of professionals. This will be for 5 hours per week.
